I was looking to mount a torch on the gs for when i go camping or off road, I found these on flebay for 99p from china, I mounted two on my handle bars they rotate 180 and clip over any size bars in seconds.
I used mine when I went off road and the intense beam was great, with them been on the bars where ever you point the bike to go you light that area up, your spotlights are fixed to the crash bars they don't.
They will fit on your crash bars as well but I found more usefully on the handlebars
