Does anyone know how to do this.

I have some pictures that have been turned into an exe file and the program is basically a slide show. I would like to "rip" the pictures from it. I don't know what program was used to make the exe file either.

Any ideas?

Sounds like it was made with a shock wave /flash type prog......I've used a couple that can save files as .exe or .scr files.

Try a decompiler for those......save the file and open it with the prog, then you should be able to save the images.

I'm using SWF 'n Slide pro which would do it....google should turn it up, or torrent search it ;)

If you have probs, upload it and post the url here and we'll have a look :thumb

Edit; there are progs out there that grab .jpgs from .swf files or slideshows (that your .exe could be).
Again, google them and you should find one that will do the trick.

Too fast!

Cheers Fanum and thanks for the recommendations. I'll download SWF N Slide and post back the results:thumb2

I can't remember if there's a trial version of the prog...if there's not, PM me tomorrow (hmm, later today ) and I'll sort you out a cracked version.

At the risk of a thread hijack I have often wondered if you can turn a MicroSoft Powerpoint slideshow (PPS) file back into a PPT file and retieve the individual slides....any body know how:confused:
