Right time for a rideout. Leaving McDonalds Keighley at 09.00 next Sunday 20th May. A Day in The Dales taking in Slaidburn, Kirkby Lonsdale, Barbon dale, Dent, Garsdalehead. Hardraw, Buttertubs, Tanhill, Reeth,The manor cafe. Then home via Askrigg, Bainbridge, Gayle, Fleetmoss and down upper Wharfedale. Back to Keighley. This is about 160 miles non off road. All welcome. We are going anyway. So please feel free to join and leave as you wish. We have not tried a ride out before so this could be fun. Let us know if you are coming if poss then we are not waiting about.

Excellent route taking in some fantastic quiet and very scenic roads.

Just a note to say what a great day we had on our Rideout last weekend, dissaponted with the number turning up, Just One!!!! but we had a great day and now looking forward to our Scotland trip.

I'm relatively new to this game compared with most of you, but i'm surprised at the lack of open invite rideouts, riding is fantastic but coffee and talking Bollox is a big part of it as well.

I hope somebody else takes the hint and posts a few rideouts soon!!

We will let you know of our next little trip, possibly Tuesday 5th June, if thats OK with Elizabeth.

Hopefully should be a Photograph attached.

I ran rides most weekends for years down south and in the midlands, but since i moved up here I gave up trying after a few non starters such as you just had. If there's call for it I will happily lead the way...

As Adam said,
I have also organised a few run outs with a few riders each time, but I have also organised runs with nobody turning up. Gets a bit dishearteningg at the time so now I prefer to go with a regular group.
We are out every weekend, the pace is slow and steady on out of the way back roads. No off road involved.
