If you need tyres in the north west I would have no hesitation recommending F&B at Sandbatch. Steve is meticulous, the service was excellent.
Had a pair of BT020s (19" front) fitted yesterday for £182 - ride in ride out.

telephone number is 01270 760795

Got to agree with Robb, the level of service from F&B is excelent. Steve is also very hard to beat on price as well, especialy when you take in to account that all his prices are ride in ride out. Includes everything including valves and ballancing!
Can't recomend F&B highly enough, if you are near enough he's got to be worth a try.
Call Steve or Karen on 01270 760795.

Steve, have I earnt a discount off my next TKCs yet:P :D :D

Seriously folks, Steve realy is hard to beat on price and service and he genuinely cares about his customers which is rare nowadays.

Just picked up a screw in my back tyre. Got to agree with Robb also, the level of service and prices from F&B is excelent.
Can't recommend F&B highly enough, if you are near-ish (Cheesy rides 200 miles to Steve) he's got to be worth a try. Call Steve on 01270 760795 post code CW11 3RN to find it on a map.

I've also used Steve for my tyres a couple of times and can vouch for all the above.

"probably wear out loads quicker than block tyres"

I got 4500 out of a rear 020 inc 1 track day and currently have 2600 on a set of TKCs and dont reckon to get much more than another 1000 :( out of them. must be trying too hard :D
so looks like Im back over there after princetown then

I had a pair of Michelin Pilot Roads fitted by Steve. He's excellent on both his price and the standard of his work, highly recommended.
As for the Pilot Roads I've done about 700 miles mainly on twisty A roads and they're superb giving me great confidence. I haven't tried them in the wet yet but by all accounts they're about as good as you can get.

I live quarter of a mile away from f&b tyres and never new he did bike tyres until joining this site. See how long my tourances last before i make a visit to him,( only 1850 miles on the bike yet)grip is superb though for a duel purpose tyre.
