Just about ready to sell the bikes, The last few times i've been out it couldn't have rained any harder.Bonny Bonny scotland is it fuck from the inside of a steamed up visor.
Waterproof clothing-Oh aye fucking great for a wee shower,5 hours later suddenly the sales blurb begins to mean fuckall. Saying that my 15 quid overtroos kept my lower half completely dry-this must be the way forward.

Gloves-well what more needs said, they were so wet i was scared to take them off in case they wouldn't go back on.

I watch the forecast [everywhere!] set off in reasonable good sunshine, then miles from home a storm of biblical proportions starts.

The old VFR chugged its way home from stranraer -up the 702 .until i hit a another wall of water approaching so bolted towards glasgow which wasn't any better.

When home was reached i was morphed into the riding position and had to prise legs /limbs/hands to get off the bike.

No bike today, the sun is shinning-but only to lure the unwary out.Don't do it folks it's gonna rain.

Wimp get yersell oot there!!:D
mind u i rode back from Applecross to Girvan on wed and for the first time ever the pinloc visor failed, the boots that have NEVER leaked were getting damp
Wheeled the wee bikie out the shed yesterday never seen a bike sae washed oot looking by that i mean all the wee bit,s that have oil were bone dry
Summer eh whit summer!!!!
Mibbies it will improve:augie

I've got the next two weeks off. I was looking forward to some nice long runs out, maybe take the tent.

Feck.

Agreed

I got a new bike at the end of June. Every single day it has been out, it has seen rain. I have washed it, taken it out in bright sunshine, ten minutes later, soaked. It has never been properly clean, and I have gone from being quite particular about washing it to 'why bother'. I keep. Going out though:thumb2

Move :thumb2

Scotland's shit anyway :hide

I'm afraid the folk who would have reacted to this have been 'ethnically cleansed' from this forum.

The rest of us know the truth about your envy and chose to keep quiet.

Yes. Summer this year was on 24 & 25 May. That was the last time I rode my bike and it was the hottest I've ever been on a bike in UK. Up to Thurso then along and down through Ullapool, Glencoe, etc. absolutely brilliant. Been out of town most of the time since then so have avoided the showers.

The weather has been great here in sunny Argyll:cool:

Once that rain has gone I'm aff oan mah bikie for a wee run. Gonnae take the tent- that'll bring the rain.
