f650 no show

i went to the scottish bike show today and was a little surprised to see the bmw stand had not one 650 on display at all if they are not even showing it on their stand can it be much longer before it is dropped? maybe after the much rumoured hp1 single is announced, they will be replaced by the new 800 engined bikes?

By the way chaps... the 1150GS tank bag fits better on the 650 than the 650 tank bag does! Strange eh! It's more expensive but far better made, you just want the mounting plate for the front, and zippy bit for the back from the 650 ... much much better

Just in case anyone wuz thinking of changing, or has both 'bikes. Johnny Boxer... ya listnin?

SWMBO and I spent some time at the show with Alan Dalziel, Sales Manager of John Clark BMW. He expressed his surprise that there were no F650s on the stand. The new BMW dual-sport helmet wasn't in evidence on the stand either, although it had been advertised that it would be there.
