Can anyone help; I'm looking to buy a carbon fibre mudguard on ebay for my F650GS it's from a 2000(V) Plate. Will this fit any F650GS? I assume it will only be a problem if the brace has changed some time between 2000-2004

No the brace hasn't changed, or no it probably won't fit?!
If the item does not say that it will fit a GS, it probably will not.
probably yes it will fit.
the only change in the brace i think,were the later ones had threaded holes for a low mudguard.i am not sure how the carbon one is secured.
if it the one i think it is
it will fit.
they are wunderlich .usually come with a piece to go on the bottom yoke.
so that you could remove the top beak/mudguard.
if its cheap get it and try it out
