F800 GS Have U fitted Hepco & Pannier Becker Frames

I'm trying to fit some Hepco and Becker pannier frames to an 2012 F800GS.

Re fitting the pillion grab rail there are new 12mm spacers for the bolts behind the seat and new 7mm spacers for the two bolts under the seat.

But the seat will not go back on.

Looking at it the 7mm spacers seem to raise the pillion bracket/flange where the bolt goes through, above the level of the round rubber bung onto which the seat sits on the bikes sub frame, so it will not sit down properly.

If you have fitted the H&B frames did you have this problem ?

Any advice great fully received.

Had exactly the same issue, though mine weren't Hepcos.

I did eventually get the seat down with a thump but wasn't happy with it and so machined away some meat from the spacers.

Thanks for that, at least it confirms it's not just me, the spacers are/seem about 3mm to thick.

What make were are your frames.

Now I know what you mean.
I did not bother with the spacers from my racks but used the OEM which were already there.
