What is it worth ?

Due to my persistent looking at another bike from the dark side :blast :green gri and my head being turned a few times  my cherished much loved F800 GS is to be sold in the for sale section soon, once I get a few pictures together and collate the goodies and paperwork, :blagblah :thumby:

I was wondering what it is worth? :nenau

Dark magnesium Matt metallic. (Grey) 2009 model 58 plate

Good condition 27,591 miles at present. Garaged :thumb2, Careful owner :thumb2 Treated with oodles of TLC :thumby: :D

I have a lot of goodies, but will list separately giving the purchaser first dib’s or offer separately in the for sale section does anyone have an idea of realistic true value for the basic standard bike :nenau

Thanks for the figures :thumb2 . The Ebay refine search is interesting I have never looked at that cheers :beerjug:

I went here for a gander :drool this morning :thumby:

But they was closed :blast

But Holy cow did I have a nice ride :D :thumby: 27,666 miles now :rolllaugh :rolllaugh

Hi Steve, :beerjug:

I'm getting together a fair price, there's a few, well a lot of goodies some part of the bike Suspension and stuff. I'm waiting for some advice on pricing the goodies had some from here as you can see for the standard bike. I'm awaiting my chief costing expert (the big fella) last seen swanning around in the Devon area.

I'm hoping to offer the bike with some goodies at a price, then give the buyer the first dibs option to all or some of the other desirable goodies if he or she chooses.

How do you cost goodies for resale? anyone here got a idea, view on that :nenau.

When I get it all together I,m hoping to sell lock stock, I need one of thoes big carrots. :D I will post up no doubt you will see the smoke signals and hear along the grape vine ;) :thumb2 :D

What are you riding now , I'm guessing one of thoes nice @twin's :nenau

Didn't you have a F650GS before this?

I'd be interest in the exhaust if its being split up.

ferrol.

To be honest no one really wants that particular model year any more. I'll take it off your hands and give you £500 for it because, well, you have a nice face ;)

My 4th @ went to a man in Sunderland in March, after 5 summers & 22k miles in my custody :thumb2.

I've gone and bought wot you had before the F8GS - a 2010 Lava orange version from the 1st owner after he's done only 8k miles on it :D

You might recognise the road in the above picture - you rode south on it with the BIG FELLA several years ago :thumb Done a few more miles on the F658 in the last 7 months than the 1st owner would have done in about 3 years  :thumb

As you know, most of wots on the F658 will fit the MK1 F8GS, hence my interest in the basic machine. But I can and do appreciate wot a Nitron shocker adds to the F8, so I could suffer having that left on the bike (for a price obviously ;) ). Likewise the crash-bars - they look like AS versions! Slightly more substantial than yer average BM versions :green gri

Cheers,

The F658 great bike :thumby: I have collected loads of goodies along the way as you way, going from F650 twin to F8 made a lot of sense sharing the same parts and all :D

My chief costing expert is back from Devon now so will have figures and pictures before you know it.. watch this space, or smoke signals :thumb :D :beerjug:

Dean , I'm looking at buying a Touratech seat like yours (since even the BMW "comfort ' one isn't that good on long runs.

Can i ask ...Do you recommend it ? Do you have experience of other seats ( is it better than the bmw comfort one or am i wasting more money ?)

Thanks

Stuart I just bought a Touratech seat ( started with the standard seat, then bought a comfort seat and it was too low!) the Touratech one is much better, its higher and more comfy, I would deffo recommend it...HTH

Stuartw.

As dibbs mentions The TT / kahedo has a lot of gel in it, being a high touring seat it is deep filled :thumby: I can only compare , standard, sargent and the TT one. I have never tried a bmw comfort seat so can not comment on it.. standard is a plank sargent is saddle shaped and nice and comfy but the TT has maybe a tad more comfort :thumby:
