f800 gs (which chain)

my bike has done 14000 miles, im not sure if its the original chain, doesnt look to well though. and became very slack after a few hundred miles from last tensioned.

is it on its way out, whats a good chain and sprox to replace it with (x ring, o ring)???

what makes to go for and avoid cheeeeeers

Replace chain AND sprockets at the same time ... swing arm out and take time to grease the needle rollers of the swing arm bearings.

Use original BMW sprockets and DID Gold HD chain

F800GS ... 51,500 miles ... no complaints ... loadsa fun ...

Was offered replacement chain under warranty but did as above DID Gold HD no probs never had to adjust yet just keep it well lubed.

Another vote for DID. Mine's been on from new and is still good at 20,000+
