F800 GSA Brake light switch broken!

During a recent club run I was informed my brake light was on all the time.

Seems the switch is broken, although I don't see how this could have happened as it is protected by a cover!

Anyone know how to remove the little bugger?

Mine was picked up during its 6k service, the tech advised the rear brake light wasn't working.

It was replaced under warranty, I believe they're pop riveted in. Wouldn't yours be covered under warranty too?

Just out of warranty by 2 months!
Have the part ordered and should get it sorted soon.

Thanks slparry, Mine seems to be different than that.
Might be for the front brake!
