F800 GSA handle bars...how funking narrow!!!!???

Picked up a GSA yesterday after trading in my R1200GSA OC. Can't get over how narrow the bars are compared to the R1200GS. As the switch gear is the same as what's on the R1200GS LC models, do we know if the bars are a straight swap? If not what other bars can I look at?

Give it time, you'll soon get used to riding a narrower bike.

You could check with the other F models
The 650gs has 795mm bars whereas the stock 800 GS has 791mm
My 700GS bars seem wider but can't find the length on Max BMW fiche.


So might be with checking....

Thanks everyone. Riding on the road is fine but the narrow bars make standing up on the pegs difficult and getting your weight forward. I'll check out the link. Much appreciated.
