Hi all, i was just wondering if anyone knew of any good handle bar risers. I am 6,2" and believe i need some to aid in my off road adventures, currently i am having to stoop down when i am standing on the pegs!
I have seen a few on ebay, are they any good?
cheers james

If it is of any help, I had a pair of migsel 25mm risers which I had fitted to my last R12gs adventure (20006 model) they looked to be suitable for my current f8gs and so I fitted them and sure enough,a perfect match. So migsel gets the thumbs up from me.

I got my 20mm ones from Nippy Normans, nice fit, and you can also tip the bars back a little as well, raises the grips up a touch more.

I am 6'3" and have the Touratech ones, and I have also taken off the footpeg rubbers but it is still not enough. Although I only stand for a while when on road to relieve the bum ache.

Rox Risers for me with some adjustable bolts. Raise by 1 3/4" without having to swap out your brake line and allow you to adjust pitch ie bring the closer to the rider. The bolts mean the when you go off road you can roll the bars forward quickly and easily to make the levers easier to operate.

I got my Rox Risers off eBay. Ask them to reduce postal value so you don't get raped by customs, can't remember how much I paid. The adjustable bolts I got from Berger Tools UK for about £3... much cheaper than Wunderlich.

I'm 6' and arf inch, mine also come from givi or nippy's but are Touratech's, work just fine on the stand up.

Thinking about it must help if you have long arms :thumb but allways a problem short pockets :D

compared to short arms and deep pockets

I have just fitted to Rox risers and thik they are super. I also have the lower Wunderlich footpegs and take the rubbers out when off road. The combination of all three make the standing position miles better and the rox risers also bring the bars closer to you when sitting making the bike much more comfortable all round. If you go for the Rox risers be sure to order the ones made specifically for the f800gs so you don't need to fit new brake lines.

v8legend-sorry for delay in reply. No they are the same bar width where the clamps fit, around 29mm thick.
