i should have these brackets complete with all screws and spacers available in the next couple of weeks..... IF.... there is enough interest?

the ones in the photo are the prototypes now fitted to my brothers 800 and he has bought "ring" 55w spot lights (£25 from Halfords) no they aren't HID but they aren't HID prices either

the brackets are made from high grade alloy, powder coated, and will come with stainless screws.

price has yet to be fixed but should be around £35 posted UK

would you like a pair? .... just pm me! and i will do the rest

thanks

Just out of interest, why don't they fit the 650 twin? It has holes in the appropriate places.

Seems much more appropriate to be in Vendors. :nenau

good point!

i have not had a 650 to check but......

it looks like the spotlights would mask the indicators on the 650(800) which seem to be mounted further back and higher up than the 800GS

i will check the first chance i get.... and redesign to suit if required:thumb

so for now i am playing safe

If you do manage to get them to fit, i would be interested in some for my 650 twin :)

First a big "thank you" to my brother Dave (How Much) for fitting the brackets to my F800GS. The brackets are very well made from aircraft grade alloy which is very light weight yet very strong and the mounting points are very sturdy unlike other far more expensive brackets I have seen. I also like the way lights can be mounted above or below the bracket (see photo's of my bike in 1st post on here) or even two sets of lights (fogs & spots) could be mounted above and below.

bobalob, do you think they will fit onto the headlight mounts with the TT light guard in place?

Brackets

I would definitely like to purchase these brackets but am unclear exactly how to contact the vendor...perhaps someone could post the specific link to the vendor.

Having looked at Elvie's 650, I can confirm that the indicators do appear to be mounted higher than on the 800, and as previously mentioned the spotlight will obscure the indicator.

If you click on the vendors username on the 1st post a pop-up menu apears and select send persolan message.:)

Dave, I am trying to get in contact with you but I am not able to send PMs.

I would like to know more information on these brackets as in your vendor post it is said that the costs are ₤35 for UK. I am in Madrid (Spain), what would the cost be?

Another question is if you have them already manufactured, so they can be shipped in short term.

Final question, I can see that the “horizontal” part of the bracket has to holes in it. Is this the case for all the brackets? I am asking this because I have bought the Hella Micro DE fog lights (http://b2c.hella.com/b2c_hella/b2c/init.do?language=en&country=gb&shop=EN_GB&scenario.xcm=hella_gb) and, as you can see, they have only one screw in order to be fixed.

Best regards,
Gonzalo Pacios

Any chance of making some similar ones for the f650gs so the lights are near the indicators, I know Les does one for the front fender area but I would rather have the lights higher

Are you still making these? Really want a set and have bike and spots just neeeding the 'vicar' (brackets) to join trhem forever. I've sent a couple of PMs but no reply to date.

Hope all is well with you and nothing untoward is stopping you getting back to me.

Thanks in advance

Tim
