Hi, Can anyone tell me what the wheelie situation is with these from a standing start and what the stability is like up into 6th?

Also what it's like on the rear wheel round corners?

Cheers :beerjug:

laugh i almost broke a rib!!!! wheelie in or up to 6th!!!
just a quick note for you, if your a stunt master and can put the bike back down nice and gentle then hats off to you, otherwise carry on mate and it will be new head bearings for you. 800gs to heavy for mr novice to wheelie but its your bike so carry on, have fun and start saving for the new parts:rob

Oh it looks to have enough suspension travel to cope with some gentle lowering to me....You do many wheelies then?

Thanks for the link mcbikerider...seen that one prior to posting......Looks to not be bottoming out to me :thumb2

Anyone in the UK bend a rear suspension bolt or is it a US only event?

Goes up fine. Not sure about 4th,5th, and 6th, or corners for that matter. I'm sure if you're planning on doing this you can probably do it on any bike!!!

Why whats the big plan ? :nenau

No particular plan....just wondering how it balances...

It's more the changing gears while on the back wheel......I like a bit of "fun" R1's always appreciate a wave :)

I think you will find that the wheelie potentional of any bike is directly in proportion to the riders ability. Yes I have riden one JJH

Mate of my sis's wheelied his sportsbike through a junction. His attempt to blame the hump in the junction (it's quite a hump as it happens) didn't help with the policemen sitting in the cross traffic queue :augie
