I've just received a recall notice from my local BM shop who actually supplied my bike (MY11). The recall is for the radiator cap.

650 and other 800 variant owners may want to check this out for your own peace of mind.

They did this with their cars a few years back. The cynical out there reckoned it was just a very cheap way of getting just about every BMW owner onto their database...
