That looks like the quarry on the hills above Cheltenham if I'm not mistaken..... I've been up there for a play before!!

Can I ask what camera you were using??

Niiice, you guys got a Google Maps link for where this actually is?.. had a look around near Cheltenham but can't find it.

Wow, that looks like an amazing place to go! Can anyone go there? must get nobblies on the 650GS again!

Yea as far as i know its open to anyone.
I seem to remember someone saying the guy who owns it runs the local 4x4 shop and uses it as a testing ground

Tap in the following co=ordinates into google map and it should show you where it is:
51.906472,-2.013055

There are a coupls of green lanes leading to / away from it as well as access from a main(ish) road.

As far as I am aware it is a free for all, I've been there many times and never found it gated or anything. Good proving ground.

Can't do this weekend, got some crazy client deadlines to meet, soon though.

Anyone reckon an F800GS on a set of Anakee 2's will work?

Fine - I run my 800GS with Tourances around there, just avoid the water and the sloppy stuff........ not that there will be much of that there at the moment!!

Now I am very excited, I have tourances on at the moment and was kicking myself for not having the Mitas tyres fitted! :D:D

Only problem I have is none of my riding buddies have off road bikes, can't really go by myself!

Early on a sunday is usually the best time to go nice and quiet basically have the place to yourself
