802: Suspension: Suspension arm - movement excessive - Nearside front, rearmost, lower balljoint worn

802: Suspension: Suspension arm - movement excessive - Offside front, foremost, lower balljoint worn

Anyone able to decipher this?:nenau

So I reckon I need 2 x front (L + R) track rod ends......then it gets a bit gobbledegook (to me).:nenau

Anyone able to give me a shopping list of parts needed?

looks like l/h track rod end and 1 left and 2 right ball joints
thats what it looks like anyway
back ball joint on left and both on right
hope that makes sence

Like I said earlier if that many ball joints were excessively worn then it would be all over the road! Those testing machines that we have here are way too aggressive and a lot of mechanics reckon they damage stuff! I've seen ball joints that were tight before going in become sloppy

Pass side lower rear x 1

Off side front both uppers

1 x lower front

and the two track rod ends

:comfort

NI Phil is correct about needing BOTH track rod ends, other than that, looks about right.
(except for "sense"... :D)

[edit] Beaten to it... :blast

Pissat bottom arms are notorious for going every 3 years or so, if driven even slightly "sporty"..
Same as Audi A4's..
Pattern ones last even less time :(

Look again folks

The above would lead me to believe that it was both uppers

Cheers Proff:thumb - I'll try and go for quality parts if they're not too much more expensive.
I think it's also all the ramps, speedbumps and potholes that we have to contend with. (Jaythro will probably attest that I'm not a sporty driver.....more MPG than MPH:D)

That's just an age thing that afflicts the both of you I'd say Phil. :augie

Aidan, long time since we have spoken - fair comment:aidan
