Does anyone know of or make a big foot for the side stand on a factory lowered GS as the base of the stand is different to that of a GSA...?

My good lady has a GSA which has been lowered but she could do with a big foot for it!

In 4 years of owning a factory lowered standard R1200GS, I never found a Bigfoot type device that would fit the stand, although after a while I gave up looking as I got used to being careful with the grounding.

take a look at how much your bike actually leans on the side stand. i've found that my low GS leans A LOT more than a standard height one....so i put on the regular side stand....not exactly sure what BMW was thinking there...

Nope just rechecked & doesnt lean enough for standard side stand.

Yeah - I made a `special` for a client for a lowered bike - I think it fitted!

I have a touratech one on on lowered GS2010. never had an issue. Even on muddy terrain last weekend at silverstone. Cant fault it. Easy to fit, still in place 2 years on and steady as..Think how much pressure would actually be required to sink 3 inches square ...

Ice hockey puck - costs around £2 and is 1" thick - 3 big f*** off self tappers through the sidestand foot and job done. Been on three years and never had a problem.......
