The Cut Off switch has gone on the blink.

1150 GSA 03 Reg. Have been avoiding using the cut off switch, just used the ignition key, since the engine cut out when fiddling with the heated grip switch.

I can't get the ignition on, Fuel Gauge, and Injection are dormant.

Occaisionaly I get a brief sond from the fuel injection when very carefully moving the switch.

Have taken the switch panell off and tried to get to the switches, can't seem to detach the outer shell to reveal the juicy inner bits, but can see prise it open enough to see them.

Before I go and buy another switch does anyone have any ideas how to remedy this?

Murky Buckets.

Might be worth checking the wiring loom from the ignition switch.

Its know to break where its cable tied on the left of the tank.

Failed Starter

Thanks for the info'.

Prised apart the switch gear and found the offending switch, with a rubber cap/sheath on it.

Removed this and hey presto, ignition back on and injectors make that whirring sound.

Don't want to trust this so best replace the bugger properly. This will be the third switchgear replacement on two bikes.

Quality!!!!!!!

If your using the cut off switch as a normal "stop" for the engine then what do you expect?

Failed Cut Off Switch

Nope.

Stopped using it for that, along time ago.

Last two set of switches were changed because the indicator switches gave up the ghost.

Perhaps I'm giving too much info'!!!
