Bit of an odd occasional fault has developed on my 2006 R1200GSA.

I rode to the NEC for the bike show last November during the deluge and the dash went mental with random warning lights etc. Stopped the bike and gave as many switches a good dose of WD40 which pretty much cleared them all.

However I have a residual issue that a faint red warning light shows when the bikes in neutral. As soon as I put the bike in gear it clears.

Any ideas? Or do I just ride through it and hope a good summer will dry everything out?

I had thought that as the dash light to the left seems to be fading but the warning light comes and goes.

I'm going to remove the connector from the back of the clocks and give them a clean & grease. Might be a dry connection there.

Sounds like the earh/neg connections to the dash may be corroded to me. There are several recent posts on the subject.
