I often wondered how thorough servicing is carried out, particulary on newish bikes, however having sat and watched my F800 get it's annual service this week through the viewing window whilst supping coffee, I could see that during the 90 minutes it was being worked on that everythng was looked at properly and with great care taken. What's more it rode like a dream afterwards. I am aware of others dealer horror stories, however I can very much recommend those boys at Barnstormer Alton! :thumb

Similar experience with Allan Jefferies. Im OK with £120 mid service and £210 for 12000 milers. Its not a major cost in my annual budget, but the likes of Ducati and KTM service costs is taking the piss and makes biking far too expensive. Regular servicing at the same dealer helps build a rapor which proves very helpful in the 24 month warranty period and beyond. Sounds like you have found a good dealer, stick with them.

Thats the secret, helps to keep the mechanics mind focused if he knows he`s being watched.

Ducati and KTM a rip off? My mate had a quote on the exact same service on his Guzzi V7 Classic and it was £100 more expensive than Barnstormer! And that was those miserable unhelpful types at Moto Corsa, Three Legged Cross!.. and I would trust them servicing my wheelbarrow.;)
