Has anybody tried the Famsa tankbag for the 12gs on the 12gsa, does it hit the handlebar cross bar

Have yer not got it yet I ordered mine on tuesday and I should get it next week Mind you its a pre ordered one, so I got no choices on equipment.

Anyway, its all your fault I was just getting my pennies sorted out to buy your old bike and somebody beat me too it Of course the seed for new bike was planted by then, i did'nt stand a chance

So, what is the score ... saw the FAMSA bag on a 1200GS a few weeks ago and its now a toss up between that and the Wunderlich one ... anyone tried either on the 1200 GSA?

Not at all impressed with the BMW bag, its bl**dy enormous and fouls the bross-brace ...

I've got the GSA now and have a Famsa Bag somewhere, its just a matter of getting the two together and giving it a go

I have been informed that the bag fouls the cross bar, so i dont hold out much hope

Yeah,
I got one, but it slides around on the tank like a dog on lino and scuffed my paint.
Problem is the tank is very narrow & steep. No prob's re handlebars though.

But.....
I think I,ve got the answer. Enter help the Aged via my mum who has some stuff called nycem which is a bit like blue tack on a roll. It sticks like crap to a blanket and you can peel it off after use. Its washable & I'm hoping it will do the trick by locking the bag to the tank.

The only other problem is the shape of the map pocket which is traiangular. Its crap & I can't find any traingular shaped maps!!
