FAMSA tank bag for the S10

Just wondered if any of you S10 out there have had any experience with this tank bag.

I've used one on my old GS but just wondered what the fit was like on the S10.

If anyone can reccomend a better alternative, feel free.

I'm not a huge tank-bag fan, but if you head over to a web site such as

for example, a do a search on this subject, there are loads of reports etc.

The Yamaha one is great, it fits very well and the magnets/straps are fine, bought mine for £75, discounted Yamaha. Also have a Hein Gericke one meant for bikes with funny shaped tanks, comes with a base for plastic and magnets for the Super 10, budget but also quite good, bought it before I saw the Yamaha offer.

Thanks guys for your help. I`ve checked out the Tenere site, but seem to have a problem viewing the logos and pictures on my aged laptop, but as you rightly say xylo66 there is a miriad of information on it.
I`ve also had a close look at the Yamaha one snakebasket and I really like the look of it and if I can get one remotely close to the price you paid I`d be more than happy.

I'm a big Baglux fan but their prices have got too high for my liking - after 16 years I needed a new Alpha bag as well as the harness so I was looking at a £200 bill.

So I went for the other end of the price spectrum and bought an Oxford First Time strap-on bag. Under £30 http://www.oxprod.com/index.php?pg=3&action=dept&id=17&pid=42&p= - it worked well on a trip to Italy on my S10.
