Fancy a brand new, retro 2-stroke??

Nice to see a 2 stroke in production during these days of strict emissions constraints.

I've never ridden one but I seem to remember the gear lever doubled up as the kick start.......back in the day even MZ owners looked down on Jawa/Cz owners. Jawa\CZ made some good MX bikes in the 1970's.

.....and if you kept your foot on the gear leaver (pressing down) it acted as a clutch - Honda 90 style.

Ring a ding ding tastic - I love two strokes, even shit ones..... :thumb

This surprised me, you can still buy a brand new Jawa from a UK distributor.

Crappy old Eastern European utilitarian thing in the day, perhaps, but quite a desirable and interesting thing today.

I like it, but roughly £6K makes it one expensive bike when it's compared to the modern Enfields and the stuff from China etc. I'm possibly missing the point though.

My mate has a new (ish) two stroke. A Husqvarna 300cc enduro bike (a white KTM) Fully road legal, goes like fk and has been totally reliable for the three years that he's had it. £9K when he bought it but what an amazing motorbike....:cool:

I'm with you. That's almost the price of the Kove 450, which is a far superior bike.

That looks very clean for a bike that’s not been used for 20 years. Keep us up to date with the recommissioning.
