For the last couple of years I have been signed up to a sort of treasure hunt that spans the whole of the UK and lasts the whole year. It's been a lot of fun, so thought I'd share it here.
The country is divided into fifteen regions. There are fifteen places per region - cafes, biker bars, garden centres, historic monuments, gardens or other points of interest. They're all on a Google map.
You sign up and get a number. It's ten points for a photo of your bike at each location, with a 50 point bonus if you complete the region. There's also a wildcard round where you use your imagination to find places based around a theme set by the organiser.
No fee to enter; no prizes other than bragging rights. But it does get you to some interesting places, amazing roads and great eateries that you would never have otherwise visited.
