Actually you did miss out on a belter of a ride, I turned off before Porthmadog for Beddgelert, up past Snowdon to Pen-y-Pass and joined the A5 at Capel Curig, North over the top and down through Dyffryn Ogwen, then a brisk blast back via Pwllheli, all that on near-deserted roads after the weekend visitors had gone home. Bliss.

Oh, I meant to ask you about Sid's Weekend, are you going this year? I still haven't asked Sid so perhaps it's too late for me, he may be fully booked by now anyway. Tell Ray I said Hi, I'll see him soon.
