Harte extends Tyrone deal
"Tyrone manager Mickey Harte has had his contract extended by a further two years.
Harte was due to enter the final year of his current term in 2010, but the new arrangement means he will now be in charge until the end of 2012.
The county board unanimously agreed to the treble all-Ireland winning manager's request for an extension, which will see him serve as county manager for a decade.
Harte led the county to a first All-Ireland title in his first season in charge in 2003, and presided over further Sam Maguire Cup triumphs in '05 and '08."
