Farkle development including the front crud

Mark, first class job :thumb well done and so quick after delivery I call that dedication.

I do like the sport version, however my thoughts (for what they're worth) are that because the touring versions lower edge appears to extend over the leading edge of the bash plate, it would offer better protection and stops road crud from getting through the bottom of the crud catcher and the bash plate, therefore when ordering I'd also go for the touring version.

Love the "LC" logo however I wonder if there is room to put "GS" either above or below (I appreciate there doesn't look as though there is enough room along side each other)

Looking forward to finished product :thumb

Cheers

`GS LC` might look good! Not sure if it would look `too much`......

What do we all think????

Yeah, dedication, but I was being pushed by kindly folk wanting their gear so I really couldn`t spend the day riding it....................... (I fekking could :bounce1)

i`m already being nagged for a GSA frame adaptor, a nautilus horn bracket, a rear pillion cargo plate, a rear crud catcher, radiator guards (I like the sound of them)................

I`m very lucky of course but only if I didn`t have a day job :clap

Soz

Not sure if I took one.............

i`ll have a quick look now and post the `biggest distance` one I have. sorry, I didn`t think :nenau

Sorry pal the only distance one I have is of the sports............

Close your eyes and imagine it just a bit bigger...........:D - sorry, thats a bit flippant (hope you can see the funny side, certainly no offence ever intended!), if you wish as soon as I get a chance I am happy to change them over and photo a distance one for you?

I'd go for a touring one please. Perhaps like the idea of a more angular design though. Either LC or GS logo is nice.

Dunno mate - I`m still ages away from any of that commercial rubbish :D

but yes, when they do go on sale I will make sure i make yours first

That's very kind of you though Stevie Allen may be a little upset as he seems to think he's first in the queue on the Subtle Personal Mods thread :D

I'm more than happy to await my turn :thumb

I would say they are not tall enough.

On my LC the crud is splattered at least half way up the fron cover.

When you make one I will be buying one:beerjug:

Agreed. GS logo with LC would look great.

Nautilius Horn Bracket . Tried to get Nautilus installed and this is what it looked like. Told the dealer to forget it and that I would wait for nippy s to get the msx in. Sorry to go off thread but you did mention it !!!!!

Fair comment but it could look a little 'odd' but if you wanted one I'd be happy to make a 'special' for you

So you are the geezer Norman mailed me about today! I did a nautilus fit for him on a GSA and he has asked me to look at the LC - TBH until I get precious time I can't say that anything springs to mind!

Yeah.... I'm the geezer. Spoke to Norman last week and have Nautilius in a box waiting for YOUR solution. Kearys BMW really tried but as you can see from the pic it looks shite.

As this is to provide protection I think the touring is the one. But as the new bikes is styled using angles and vee shapes could you incorporate these cues in the top edge design as the large curve between bolts and radius around top bolts looks a little old hat dare I say.

BTW respect to you as concept is great.

Tourer looks to be the one....have to agree with Magnon though and would lose the arc and go for a more angular approach and wouldn't make the cut out so deep so as to give more protection....appreciate we all have different views...just my humble opinion.

Cheers

Crud

I see matey peeps. Well, I will take a look at it as soon as I can - I'm no lazy bugger but please bear with me as I have a full on day job and I can't rush what I do for fear of screwing it up. A bit like your stealer.......

Touring for me please, with LC logo, more angular in keeping with the style as someone suggested would be great, :thumby:

You've done a great job Mark, Thanks, will I get it for the weekend :D
