Farkle development including the front crud

Well here it is - the first off for the pillion seat rack/plate.

The madness behind this one was that on my 2006 GS when you took the pillion seat off the `plate` underneath, albeit not perfect, could still take a good `load` (oooerrr missus )

The latest has had a redesign and BMW has made a little `cubby hole` for stuff as follows:

But as far as taking a load (oooerr missus ) its as much use as me in a staying sober competition.

So, and because a few lads have asked me for one, I made this:

What do you think guys? Its made to protect the `soft underbelly` and be a much stable platform for strapping stuff to. It currently fastens on using 4 existing fastener points, I would like to make it `clip on clip off` but the rear locating points just seem too difficult to make a cost effective assembly for at this time.

Looks good Mark. Why the hole at the back? GS riders should know the correct tyre pressures, so you don't need to leave that bit exposed (IMO).

Fair comment but for every fellow tosser who says `why the hole` there will be another saying `can you put a hole in for easy visual access`

Re the black deflectors I am waiting for some more stainless to come in, should have been here yesterday but now tmoz. I need to make a few to get a viable qty for the powder coaters (the one in the image cost me something like £30 or £40 to get done as a `min order` and even though I love you like only one man can love another I ain`t chuffing spending over £30 just to get yours powder coated

personally I'm Not keen on the TP hole...BUT would like additional strapping slots near the Front seat section.just before the curved cut outs..

.I appreciate its near the ones on the bike but that's where I attach my kriega and using the ones on the bike its a stretch to fit,,

how far over rear light does it extend as I don't use the rear grab handle

Multi purchase post costs

Hi Mark, is there a reduced postal cost for multi purchases? I am looking for rad guards, touring crud catcher and rear spray deflector.

Having recently taken delivery of a set rad covers, crud catcher and number plate extender, I was immediately impressed with quality of the items and the craftmanship and design underpinning the gear.
If this stuff has been made in a shed by a bloke wearing a flying hat, grinning like a village idiot with bugs stuck in his teeth then I'm a cross between a wellington boot and George Michael; who by the way hasn't been sucked off in a bog, in case you were wondering!!!
Seriously though with an engineering background I know quality when I see it, and believe me this stuff top drawer. I can tell its been CAD designed and intricately lazer cut from fine grade stainless steel.
Anyway in true bloke fashion I got the stuff out and immediately spilt my coffee on the fitting instructions which made me utter those internationally recognised words 'FCUK'in Bollox' ; fortunately having heard the commotion my 2 yr old daughter came to the rescue and told me what to do, and with the help of her Bob the Builder toolkit we had all the stuff fitted to the bike in under 20 minutes.
Sporting my new accessories I went for a ride out with my mates (well the two I pay for!!), eventually ending up at Squires café in Sherburn in Elmet near York, apparently one of the top 3 biker meets in the UK.
Fortunately for me the good people were drawn to the allure of my NCB steel toe capped wellies and a rather dashing pair of Gucci ' Wham' sunglasses I was sporting, which by the way are mirrored on the inside. After the madding crowd had finished mauling me the admiration turned to my bike with comments abound 'hey up Judd where's tha get that kinda bling kit from' Yorkshire speak for 'where could I purchase such quality items' of course I pointed them in your direction. I do hope you've seen an increase in orders, emanating from the very impressed men and women who frequent Sherburn in Elmet ..Thanks again Mark absolutely Spot on.
