I have never seen them before.

They look alright, but I would be afraid to leave one on my bike. Some-one could just cut the strap.

They don't come out and say it, but it looks like you at attach it to the bike. It comes with screws, etc.

Yup been there done that ,easy enough to fix to the Blackbird i had but too easy for someone to nick by cutting straps or using a screwdriver on the cheap lock . Used it mainly for soft items as the lid doesnt lend itself to rigid ones but imho there are far better items out there to use and very overpriced
(mind you i got mine on fleabay for £20)
Fits using 4 ratchet straps not screws as above post
