OK, this probably isn't the right thread group, but I couldn't find one to fit...

As a fairly new tosser (4000 miles in the last 3 1/2 months) I am still learning the bike and actually using things I had only ever read about.

So I was wondering what peoples' favourite GS gadgets are?

ESA is pretty cool, ABS might save my life one day (not had to kick in yet luckily), all the computer checks are rather nice...

But last week on the motorway in Germany (yes I'm touring around there again!) it was late evening, raining and getting darn cold. I only had my summer gloves with me and my pinkies were getting nippy... Then I remembered the best little pre-installed gadget since sliced bread - the heated grips. HEAVEN! They have got to be my favourite gadget at the moment. No high-tech computer stuff, just warm fingers!

+1 And a Pro-Avi Autocom with speed sensor that turns the music up and down dependent on speed

I don't really consider heated grips a gadget, but they are definately a brilliant thing.
ESA for me, saves so much messing around. I swap my setting all the time depending on what mood I'm in. Definately comfort mode for the Sheffield roads though, they're terrible.
