I Have hunted high and low and can only find these on US web sites at $38.

Is there a place in the UK that sells them?

Me too

I emailed wurth in the UK, who kindly pointed me in the direction of Wurth Belgium, emailed them, closest one is French speaking, nothing heard from them though.........

If you really need the wurth gauges contact maverick on ukgser, or search through the vendors and find his post selling them.

I've got four feeler gauges but they have loads of blades in each and are therefore slightly heavy and cumbersome. Not ideal for the valves.

Plus its a good excuse to stock my toolbox.

I seem to manage well with just one set of feeler gauges.

You've been reading over complicated american "how to's" haven't you :blast

Just looking around on old posts found the following from end of 2011

Just realized just how old this thread is:blast Oh well that'll teach me. I've contacted www.wurth.co.uk and bought them direct.
For those of you interested, Part numbers are:
07351120 0.05mm Light Blue
07135123 0.15mm White
07135126 0.030mm Yellow

In the products catalogue you'll find various sizes under the Engines section

Regards GibGSA

Ref above Go to the Catalogue:
select : 06 Engine, Wheel and Aircon
Type in Search box : feeler gauge

Then armed with trusty credit card in hand contact sales on 0208 319 6911 ( press option 2)

There that should be of help to someone.

Regards GibGSA

As a home spannerman, I like the Wurth guages, yes I realise they are not nescessary but neither is my bike, I like them like the stupid spanner sizes I have and will never use:D

What's all this $38 and $22 nonsense?

A feeler gauge is a feeler gauge , but if you feel it isn't then you can be sure that .005 = .005 which ever brand.
So, why aren't you guys looking at gauges for £7 or less? :nenau

Get a set from Halfords or similar, buy a marker pen and write 'Made In Germany' if that rings your bells. :blast

For whatever reason I have three sets of feeler guages, one I purchased and two from my old firm's toolkit leaving present, and they all separate from the lead-weight assembley.

Just sort yourself out locally from the motorfactors who sorted your circlips. :thumb
