The more I see the prices being asked for GS's up for sale the better I feel. Bought mine a few months ago, its red R reg 1100 in good condition. 65000 miles. taxed and tested 12 months. full remus system. h + b crash bars. Touratech screen extension. bmw panniers and t/box. hand gaurds. heated grips. full bmw service history. just been serviced and had new front discs and pads. new clutch last year. Price paid .... £1800
Its rare but it's nice when it happens ... me Im just feeling smug

You got yourself a bargain. Some peaple will not buy a bike with a few miles on the clock. The only way i could afford a 1150gs was to buy one with 30,000 miles on it. It was mint , one owner. now got 48,000 miles and going better than ever. Its probably worth about what i paid for it two years later ( thanks to LWR ? ) . Its also the only bike i have wanted to keep this long. Enjoy yours

BMW made much of the 1200's reduced weight compared with the 1150. What's rarely mentioned is that the 1100 is only a few kilos heavier than the 1200. Although I am a happy 1200 owner, I would have seriously an 1100 and saved a shedful of dosh. The 1150, no thanks.
