Hi, can anybody suggest a manufacturer other than Pyramid Plastics that make fenda extenda's? They don't make one for a 54 plate F650 gs. They only make them for the Funduro and 08 onwards. Any advice wouldbe great. Thanks.

If you go to a dealer that stocks Pyramid ones there's every chance that one from another bike will fit, but failing that the only definite thing I know of is the TT long mudguard, and that's expensive by comparison.

I have a little extender dubery whatsit on my old dakar mudguard. Might be an OE thing :nenau

It made naff all difference, thing still got covered in crap!!!

Hello Udders, I have a 2004 GS650 and couldn't find one to fit mine. In the end, I bought another of the standard mudguards as fitted new from Motorworks. I cut off the short bit, reversed it, and attached it to the present mudguard, and hey presto, I have an extender. Four nuts and bolts, that's all and it looks good and works well. RobA.

Here is a picture of the extender. I think I originally said four nuts and bolds but actually, there are only three. Took less than an hour to do. Let me have your e-mail address if you want more pics and bigger: [email protected]

Mike.

By the way, put a higher seat on mine today (brand new from CW - £116 - not too bad I thought). Definitiely more comfortable and should be able to sell the old (lower one) when I want to and recoup some money.

Also fitted a tinted screen from Puig, which definitely makes a difference over 60. Does a better job than you'd think from looking at it.

Puig Screen and "higher" seat.

According to CW (Dorchester) there are two seats listed for the GS: a lower one and a higher one! I have just fitted a higher one. It is more comfortable for two reasons - there is more padding and less of a step (to the rear level).

The Puig screen is better than it looks!!!!! It looks as if it would direct the air-flow straight at your head - but it doesn't. Went straight on - no problems.

(Tried to get photos in - unsuccessfully!!!!! Will try again, or does anyone know how to?).

E-mail me on [email protected] if you would like piccies! I have pics of the screen and one side view of the new, "higher" seat.
