Have to say that the rt is a very good bike. I've owned a 600bandit, fazer 1000 a varadero and a triumph tiger 1050 . The rt beats them all in every department. Had a ride on the weekend 300 miles in comfort, surprised how easily the front wheel would lift accelerating through the gears no issues with the weight. Actually very nimble.

Can recommend the extender.
No drilling no double sided tape.
Appears to be very secure.
