Well not quite a ferry...more a freight service with some limited capacity for the odd human and bike/car etc.
dfds operate a system called Anglobridge...have a look here...

They have just quoted me £436.92 to take the gs + rider to Sweden and includes the return trip 1 week later...

This could be a better option for those of us travelling to Scandanavia from the north end of the UK and beats driving all the way to harwich and then having to cross Denmark etc.!
