Chaps. My clutch has suddenly become very snatchy/aggressive for no apparent reason. The lever is as smooth as ever, you reach the biting point as usual, but release it a fraction further and the bike jolts forwards and stalls. I thought at first I was just having a bad day being ham-fisted, but it's definitely not me! Any thoughts? It doesn't feel as though the slave cylinder is getting stuck because there's no notchiness in the lever movement.

Failing that, any good independent mechanics in Surrey/South west London?

Many thanks.

You won't do better than him 2 posts up....

Sounds like the clutch may be damaged ie - broken springs not transferring the torque takeup properly.:nenau

It's a gearbox problem - will know more when I open the box.
