FILES DELETING ON PC

Hi, came accross some files on my pc all just over 2.2gb and they look like different map versions, they are all compressed zip files and labelled
"Western_and_Central_Europe" .
Ive deleted the oldest 3 versions by checking the date created in file properties, currently sitting in the recycled bin.

Q- Is it safe to just permanently delete???
