Hi

I have a BMW X5 and a BMW R1200GS plus I am butcher and game dealer so I guess that puts me on quite a few hate and total tosser lists but I can leave that.
Anyway to futher p*ss off other road users I seem to have lost the ability to tell the difference in width between the bike and car!! Does anybody suffer the same problem and end up looking a prat.
(light hearted post!)

I know what you mean!

I have a monkey bike with no power and no speed which I used for London commuting for a long time. I also ride the GS for the same commuting runs. Initially, it was quite difficult to switch between the mindsets that each bike demanded to make good progress. For example, I'd never run up the outside of a line of traffic on the monkey bike as I'd get 'hung out to dry' when the traffic started moving. But on the GS, I'd forget that I could.

Then again, I was out with an ambulance crew last week. When you have blue lights and nee-naws, it's different again!

Lanes are my problem

so used to weaving in and out on the bike, I end up all over he place on the odd occasions that I do drive. Usually much to the annoyance to some tosspot behind me. They're probably saying the same thing about me mind you.

I'm right there with you on this one, if I had a quid for the number of times I've been out in the car with the family, stuck in a queue thinking....if only I was on the bike!!
