FIM Mototour of Nations (N Italy 5 to 8th Sept)

There are 4 of us heading off at the end of the month, to do above ......... I am about 99.8% sure there are no other Irish contenders ... but I know others drop in here from time to time. !!

Any from UK mainland (or further afield) also doing this event ?

Never done one of these before - Starting in Udine (N Italy) - taking in a bit of Austria and Slovenia ... finishes two days later in Trieste ... circa 600Km of hopefully "interesting" roads !

Ok , so that's a no then .....
14 nations turned up , but only 101 people on about 76 bikes. Ireland came 4th in the points table (calculation of people times distance travelled ...... )

On ferry from Roscoff now , 3036 miles done so far at pleasing average of 61.3 mpg actual. Sidewalls of tyres saw lots of use , and 5 wet hours out of 2 weeks ..... mostly circa 30c days

If they run another one ...... worth considering !!!!
