So I cleared off some misting around the bottom of the paralever with brake cleaner this morning before my run, its what attracts that black look around the bottom near the boot, so more of a misting than anything else.

Anyways I'm going to do a FD and gearbox oil change , I opened up the larger part of the boot and a few drops of oil came out, and a couple of finger scoops worth, not that much really.

I've shone a torch up the para lever and that's as dry as a bone so I'm assuming nothing gearbox related but FD.

Anything pressing or shall I just change the oil, check it for contamination and press on ? :D

Normal, shouldn't happen but it does...now stop bothering us all !! :D

I'm sorted ... Done final drive and gearbox change. Nice and clear draining , grey clouds that looked lovely swirling about in my nice clear tuppaware bowl. :D

Just a bit of smooth grey paste on my magnets.

I'm gonna wack some miles on her now and get her on training for the TT.

Thanks all.

There is a bit too much servicing going on here, which I'm sure a lot of airheads suffer from.

I like fiddling with my airheads but am very good at ignoring these minor anomolies and just get on and ride them (whilst making sure I've got my AXA assistance card in my pocket).
