Would love to get ABW to sort my FD out... but it's a long drive 
Out of interest, I gave NOG a call to find out when the last one was replaced... 2009! So considering what I do to it, I think it's done a pretty good job

hp2 final drives
Just had john mitchinson rebuild my 2 final drives
i have a 1200gs one on at present with no speedo working
john has put in the smallest shims to take out as much backlash as possiable
and is getting some shims re sized to try in my other drive
he is also making a Jig to insert a drain hole in the casing to aid oil changes
ps noted comment about forks from KTM 690 they were about the worst forks ever made by WP / KTM
John Mitchinson / Rally raid products into his bikes has a 1200 RT for Shopping ?
ps hope to give the final drive a good test at the hard alp tour in Italy in Sept

Same as mav, jonno is a long way oop north
And suspension or fd will still get me nowhere near david in the rallies....... But i am on my 950 se at the time... And ben pope sails past in the wet on his hp2
Just having my hp2 redone with wp forks from a 990 adventure by moly.
mav is doing the same through moly - his triple clamps were there when i dropped my bike off
- and i am intending to keep the bmw wheel and brakes so i will let you know when the bike returns in a few weeks.
