Final Drive

I have a slight leak at the oil seal on my final drive, i've got a new seal going to change it tomorrow.
i've read the thing on R1200GS about changing the oil has anyone done it is there any advice you can give me

When you squirt the oil in through the speed sensor hole do it VERY slowly & use a big syringe with a bit of tubing on the end to go in the hole

I haven't changed the seal, but i have changed the oil, following the "How To..." thread on ADVrider (linked to from here).

It's not all that tricky. I also filled it with a syringe, both to ensure correct volume of oil and to get it in the "hard to get at" hole.

thanks a lot guys,think of me tomorrow with oil dripping off my elbow unless i can get a siringe from the local vets

I got mine from a local chemist, ask for the 50ml ones
