Thank You, It really is a great idea to have at least a gallon of gas packed on the bike. You can pack everything right on top of it, and forget it's there. Also if you're camping you know you will find other uses for the fuel.

Since we are new in the UK, I guess we really will be shipping "samples" until we set up an overseas distributor.

Just a thought. I like my givi maxia had it for a while, can place 2 full face lids in so saves draging around town nonsense, fix to bike.
Get a E adapter to fix to the rear carrier of the bike ( £40 ) .
There are some top boxes on flea bay etc, get the box +E and job done, better still if you have an old givi doing knowt .
As said just a thought, different idea if it helps.

Not sure how you worked that price out - $299 + $80 shipping, exchange rate about $1.50 to the pound, so roughly £250, plus import duty (which was about £55 when I got mine earlier this year), so more like £300 - £310. Still expensive, but not £483...

I didn't ! I went to the website, selected sterling, and then went for a lie down to recover

I see what you mean! Blimey, so for the sake of Guy adding a button to do a currency conversion, he's added a 50% mark up? Jeezus, he must be on crack if he thinks anyone in the UK is stupid enough to go for that! I bought mine back in May, and it was £305, all in.

I mean, you can get a full set of BMW Vario cases for less than the cost of a painted one now. God's teeth.

Have a word with Roger at ARD Cases. He made me a similar pillion removeable box in ally, powder coated for £150! It is interchangeable with the pillion seat, is lockable and has some tie down loops on the lid.
It might be a bit more expensive now but it's worth an ask.
Ask him about ARD Pillion.
I will try and post some images later if you like.

Yes it will, but access is a little restricted, as you can't open the Teailgunner as far as the top box limits it a bit (you can achieve something like 60 degrees though, which is good enough for most things).

The Vario top box on my bike has the back rest pads fitted too, so maybe the tailgunner will have slightly more restricted opening.

There is not supposed to be any mark-up for currency conversion. The price of the Standard Black (most common) TailGunner is $299.99 U.S. with all mounting hardware included. The custom painting adds $100. US which you likely would pay more if you brought the TailGunner to your local Bodyshop. We sell loads of TailGunners overseas.
