Looks great - congrats!

I take it you’re not new to PPF?

He’s not far from me and I’ve a new bike to collect this weekend. Would you share an Approximate cost for a full kit installed onsite? I wouldn’t trust my skills to buy the kit...

Russ did my previous GSA and I was very impressed with how the bike was protected and his workmanship

Full cost is £90 for the tank fitted (£45 materials. £45 labour)

Full bike is £180 (£90 materials, £90 labour). The full kit includes the tank, all painted surfaces in front of the tank, headlight, TFT screen, front forks, rear swinging arm and frame near the footrest where your boot normally rubs. I didn't need this last bit as the HP comes with plastic protectors so he gave me a discount.

I believe you can just choose the bits you want and it will be priced accordingly

Like you I would not be confident in fitting the kit myself. Russ is the expert and it still took him about 2 hours

His own GSA 1200 Rallye is in his workshop so you can see what it will look like before you buy

Hope this helps

Mike

Russ from invisible patterns did my 2016 GS TE on the day I picked it up and his colleague Craig ( I think? ) has just done my new Rallye Te when I picked it up in June, if I was to be honest I would say Craig’s job was slightly better, infact you can hardly tell any of the full kit is on there and what you have to remember is you get your money back when you sell on, there we’re marks on the plastic film where there had been stone impacts but absolutely no paint damage, perfect :okay

I must have got the wrong person to fit mine !

I usually fit myself and have fitted hundreds of kits for friends including applying it to helmets and made my own kits, i had them do my AT because i was too busy with other work, i was not impressed, film running off the plastic panels and the tank side pieces were out of alignment, i had to remove one of the panel sides and refit, i bought a new Ducati and the dealer had them fit a full kit and when it arrived the film was covered in bubbles, i would not accept it so they they had to redo the whole kit.

i was going to ask them to do my car but the above put me off so ill do it myself.

I emailed to book an appointment - to give them the work over 24 hours ago, with a reply address and telephone number.

They've not responded, so going to swerve them.

No excuse in this day and age, especially when the email was a certain job.

To conclude my little part of the thread, they still haven't replied to my email , so decided to have the bike ceramic coated.

Won't protect as well as PPF, but the whole bike and wheels are protected, rather than just body panels.
