Finally collected my new baby on Saturday afternoon!

Found Graham and the guys at Vines very helpful. Hope they sort your problems out!

Absolutely............ I have been buying stuff from them for over 2 years (maybe longer) - that's why I cannot comment or fault them.
Graham and Simon have been fantastic - as has Matt.........

Graham was a real trooper handling the sale of the bike for me while I was still in SA.........

The bike was collected first thing Monday morning to sort minor problems.... as Graham indicated on Saturday already, so I have full confidence in them.

The biggest issue for me was the front wheel being flat when I collected the bike. Nearly lost it as I rode away from Vines - but it was pumped and checked and I took the bike home - straight into the garage. Tyre deflated again after a day, re-inflated with my pump and again deflated soon afterwards. Either faulty valve - or perhaps a rim issue?

Other small niggly bits like a cracked winglet and a few other minor issues.... will all be sorted - I'm sure....

After major withdrawal symtoms since selling my 2009 GSA in Cape Town.... I've been dying to get my mits on a replacement bike!
Now that we have finally moved to the UK........... I was not going to let any grass grow under my feet....

I must say a HUGE thank you to Graham at Vines Caterham....... for your patience, understanding and helping to get me a bike!

With a huge smile on my face... I marched into the showroom with full kit on.... asking for me bike.... :D 15mins later I was on my way!!

Check out the clocks………… will have to get used to the Miles/hr so that I don’t stick to the SA speedlimits using the UK readings?

So now….. I have been “shopping” for a while now via Ebay and other BMW dealerships – keeping a keen eye on their specials and low promo prices on accessories and goodies.

Guess what I’m going to be doing for the next couple of days……….
Oh… and for those of you that’s interested….. The new full-spec 2011 GSA + all the accessories shown in the pic was purchased for about the same price that I recently sold my 2009 GSA with 11000km for in SA.

Hehe... thanks Mark.... however it seriously looks far more than what it really is....

5 of the "upgrades" are what I deem to be nescessary as used on my old bike in SA... admittedly there was a lot of offroad/dirt road riding.

- Engine bashplate changed for a SW Motech plate
- Front fender extender, Mudsling and X-Head protectors
- Headlight protector

these I found to be invaluable....

Wife insisted on Starcom in SA and it was indeed a blessing as she's not a huge talker, but her input when riding as an extra pair of eyes was invaluable.

Zumo - well I still get horribly lost riding on the lanes between the hedges.... and don't have a "Table-mountain"as a beacon! and teh TT bracket will hopefully prevent it from being nicked?

Nothing else really apart from the bags that go inside the panniers.....? :thumb
