Make's a change to hear of a KTM Breaking Down

Dazzer, your joking aren't you. They are the only.... oh no, I had one Husaberg turn back early this year, so nearly the only bike that has broken down on my last series of trail rides (18 months)...:augie

Hope your OK Forry

I'll survive got wiped out by another lad on a trail I ended up jammed between the front wheel and engine of his bike he was under the back wheel with it spinning on his back.
I just glad I had body armour on or I'd definately be in a worse condition :beerjug:

You might find the seals in the calliper are past their best.

They appear to be fine, and allow the piston to move out when you push the brake pedal, but they won't allow the piston to retract after you take the pressure off.

I'm not quite sure what happens, weather the seals get old and hard, and maybe shrink a bit?, but the result is the pistons won't move back. I had a similar problem with a front calliper on my first bike, and that was a brembo to.

I think ktm to supply replacement seals for them, so you won't have to buy a complete calliper (unlike husqvarna :thedummy).
