Better than the stocker, tho' no Sargent, but 150 miles no problem.
The heating element is roastie toastie.

Bike now booked in for its first service as the running in miles have beeen (more than) completed. Took a wee jaunt over to Scotland and did 330 miles all told. Happy to say the comfort pack was worth the money as I only really started to squirm in the last 50ish miles. And the bike is just getting better and better.

You know, that garage would look great with another bike in it. Maybe a red VFR? Something you could tinker with from time to time!

Red would clash with the MX5. So light blue in the background will do for now.
is it particularly difficult estimating where to stop when reversing the mx5 in? no park assist?

Yes, it does have reversing sensors, but have you noticed how many cars have these great devices fitted and yet so many have damaged bumpers ?

Very nice. FWIW, my dealer told me that, in response to heat complaints, KTM were shipping newer models with a heat shield , which fits on the sides,to deflect heat away from the top cylinder.

Yes, I've been told that KTM are going to retrofit some sort of heat shielding to all bikes.

I don't need to hide behind an overly large screen and like the extra air around me. Also, I was having difficulty getting just the right setting to stop a little bit of vibes in my Tour X peak.
Downsides is more flies and bugs getting through, but hey, it's a motorbike.

Yes, I keep a brand new mattress behind my MX5 because I don't know how long either the car or garage is.
Or it's my son's new mattress that now resides in his bedroom.
You decide.........
