Finish Issues on 2016 GS Triple Black

Elbow grease is the best thing to use, along with a mix of washing powder and rinse aid....No need for fancy chemicals that the average user knows fuck all about.
Never had a problem with any finishes on any bike or saucepan.....Ever.

Yeah i suppose the washing powder will do what it says on the box.....wash the corrosion away and replace the surface thats missing

Hi Bounce, so do you think it would be possible to anodise just the black parts of the rims and if so would you need to remove the spokes prior to treatment?

Yes & Yes....as Del has said below. I had my wheels refurbed by Hagon Shocks (http://www.hagon-shocks.co.uk) in Ilford.

I recall a thread some time ago re: wheel refurbers/builders as there are a few around.

I might have found an easier solution

I thought a while ago that a set of black or dark grey alloys on my bike would look quite nice, so..........I have found a set of wheels that have some rim damage which I have been told by a local repairer are easily repaired................I have sent them pictures so they can have a closer look and if all is good I might buy them get them fixed and powder coated and put them on the bike.

Could then see about the loose spokes on the original wheels and see what BMW say about replacement wheels
